4 pears (medium ripe) , cored and halved, peeled or unpeeled
1 tbsp vegan butter
Lemon juice or orange juice for drizzling
1 tbsp monk fruit sugar
Cinnamon to taste ( about a tsp)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a shallow baking dish place the pear halves cut side up. Place butter in the center of each pear half. Drizzle with lemon or orange juice. Combine cinnamon and monk fruit sugar and sprinkle over the pears > Bake 15-20minutes uncovered.
You can add chopped almonds to the topping.
